SANGRIA IN MY WAY
Ingredients for 4 people:
·1 bottle of dry Bonarda (an Italian wine not too dry)
·a can of tonic water
·4 spoons of sugar
·8 cut and sliced strawberries
·¼ of pineapple cut in small pieces
·2 ripe peaches cut in small pieces
·fruits such as strawberries, blackberries, blueberries..
·a ripe apple cut in small pieces
PREPARATION:
It needs to be served cool, between 8 and 10 degrees, and it has to be placed in the centre of the table so that everybody can reach it.
Use a tureen which works perfectly fine: it is a kind of demijohn with a wide upper opening that allows taking the sangria with a suitable ladle.
Serve also the fruits otherwise they will remain on the bottom.
ATTENTION:
If it is cool enough, as it should, you will risk to drink too much of it without realizing it.
