Is it possible to improve the nasal profile with a fully medical technique?

A patient from Naples asked me an interesting question: is it possible to improve the nasal profile without resorting to a scalpel?

Yes, it is possible to make significant improvements to the nasal profile, avoiding invasive surgeries, thanks to fully medical techniques using hyaluronic acid, botulinum toxin or suspension wires.

This is a minimally invasive procedure that is indicated in some patients but also many men.

I have some experience in this area, I have also written a book entitled “Medical Rhinoplasty” published, for the first edition, in 2008, which explains exactly how to improve with totally medical techniques the nasal profile.

Hyaluronic acid is a filler that can be injected to correct irregularities, fill depressions, or improve the symmetry of the nose, adapting the technique to the patient’s specific needs.
Another option is the use of botulinum toxin, which although often associated with anti-wrinkle treatments, can also be used to correct the nasal profile, and in particular its tip.
Finally, another option is suspension wires, a lifting technique that can correct the roughness of the nose and improve the profile, but also better project the tip, without the need for surgery.

As always, before embarking on any medical procedure, it is essential to consult an experienced professional, who will be able to assess the structure of the nose, discuss the patient’s expectations, and recommend the most suitable technique, which sometimes remains surgical.
